This lovely colored mustard has been a delicacy eaten in French grape-growing regions for centuries.

It is made each autumn by blending richly-colored and freshly-pressed red grapemust with just-ground black mustard seeds, resulting in a smooth and flavorful condiment delicious with pâté, lamb, beef, white meat, duck and salmon.

Fallot has been an independent Burgundian family business since 1840, and is the only one still housed on its original premises.

The Fallot Mustard Mill continues to prepare its mustard using recipes that have been jealously guarded over several generations, milling the mustard seeds with stone grinders, thus conserving all the gustatory qualities of the grain in the paste.

Fallot mustards are used by the greatest and most famous French chefs. Use them either by themselves or mixed with yogurt or sour cream for a refreshing dip for raw vegetables, seafood, fondue Bourguignonee.
